India’s Embassy Office REIT Says 2021 Will Be a Better Year (Bloomberg)
January 11, 2021 – Embassy Office Parks REIT CEO Michael Holland said in a Bloomberg interview that he is expecting a pick up in office demand in India in the coming months.
“The customer base for our type of office product and therefore the REIT product is actually doing quite well through this difficult period. India as well has not been so badly affected by Covid as some of the Western markets,” Holland said.
“We believe there will be an acceleration in due course of leasing and trust going forward,” he added.
Embassy REIT is India’s first publicly-traded real estate investment trust.
