Fitch Affirms Link REIT at ‘A’; Outlook Stable
May 6, 2022 – Fitch Ratings has affirmed Hong Kong-based Link Real Estate Investment Trust’s (Link REIT) Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at ‘A’. The Outlook is Stable. Fitch also affirmed the senior unsecured rating at ‘A’.
“The affirmation reflects our belief in the resilience of Link REIT’s Hong-Kong portfolio as consumer sentiment recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic,” the credit watcher said.
“A weakening in Link REIT’s financial profile due to its pursuit of growth through acquisitions of mature assets and markets should be mitigated by a larger and more diversified portfolio as well as a strong recurring EBITDA interest coverage ratio.”
