Colliers Appoints Head of Investor & Developer Research for Asia; Makes 6 Key Appointments
May 2, 2021- Investment management firm Colliers has appointed Nicholas Wilson as Director, Head of Investor & Developer Research in Asia. It also expanded its Occupier Services and Industrial Advisory capabilities with six key appointments and four promotions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.
Wilson will be leading research for the property investor and developer segments. He will report directly to the Executive Director of Research in Asia, Andrew Haskins.
Before joining Colliers, Wilson was the Director of Corporate Finance at JLL and was responsible for research initiatives on debt and corporate finance across the Asia Pacific region. He was also previously the Head of Asia Pacific Capital Markets Research at the firm.
Colliers has also strengthened its Occupier Services and Industrial Advisory with new appointments and promotions.
Hideki Maruyama has been appointed Head of Occupier Services in Japan. Maruyama is tasked to drive revenue and create a client engagement strategy that will establish strong client relationships and grow existing ones.
Meanwhile, June Chua and Tridiana Ong have been appointed Head of Tenant Representation (Singapore) and Executive Director, Tenant Representation (Singapore), respectively.
Lynus Pook, who is also based in Singapore, was hired as Senior Director, Regional Industrial Advisory in Asia.
For its Hong Kong Occupier Services business, Colliers appointed John Davies as Executive Director, Office Services, and Terry Shum as Director, Office Services.
Colliers also promoted Bastiaan van Beijsterveldt to Head of Occupier Services in Singapore earlier this year, Jay Cho to Senior Director, Office & Industrial Services for South Korea, Chris Currie to Head of Occupier Services in Hong Kong, and Rakesh Kunhiraman to Head of Occupier Research in Asia.
