Charter Hall, Abacus Property Buys A$31.5m Leasehold Asset From Australian Unity

March 12, 2021 – Charter Hall Group and Abacus Property Group announced that CHAB Office Trust, an entity owned by the consortium, has agred to acquire a leasehold asset at 241 Adelaide Street, Brisbane, for A$31.5 million (S$32 million) from Australian Unity Office Fund.

The consortium has simultaneously entered into a conditional contract with the Brisbane Club to acquire the freehold interest, for consideration of A$32 million, subject to a lease back of up to five years plus options.
