BNP Paribas Real Estate Appoints Two New Asia Pacific Heads

March 25, 2021 – BNP Paribas Real Estate announced that it has appointed two new co-heads of BNP Paribas Real Estate Asia Pacific as part of their latest growth plans in the region.

The two Co-Heads, Han Khim Siew and Mathieu Brummer, will both report hierarchically to Larry Young, as Head of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s International Investment Group (IIG).

Han is based in Singapore and will operationally report to the CEO of BNP Paribas’ Singapore Branch, Joris Dierckx, while Mathieu is based in Hong Kong and will operationally report to Hugo Leung, the CEO of BNP Paribas Hong Kong branch.

“Since its foundation in 2013, BNP Paribas Real Estate Asia Pacific has successfully facilitated the flow of over €9 billion from Asian investors into the European and UK Real Estate markets across commercial office, retail, logistics and hospitality assets. The close collaboration with Corporate Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Asset Management across the Asia Pacific region has greatly contributed to this success. The new structure will further enhance cross-selling between the various BNP Paribas group businesses”, Larry Young said.

Han Khim Siew has been appointed Co-Head of BNP Paribas Real Estate Asia Pacific. He is based in Singapore following his recent role as Managing Director in Singapore.

Mathieu Brummer was most recently the Managing Director and Deputy Head of BNP Paribas Real Estate North Asia.
